Boldly Go
"Boldly Go" captures the stunning architecture of the Killam Library at Texas A&M International University. As a former student, I spent countless hours in this building, always mesmerized by its almost interstellar design, which reminded me of the USS Enterprise. The name "Boldly Go" reflects this inspiration, while also serving as a motivational message to TAMIU students to boldly venture into the unknown.
This photograph beautifully merges architectural brilliance with the vastness of the night sky, creating a truly unique and inspiring image.
"Boldly Go" was awarded an Image of Distinction by the Texas Professional Photographers Association and was a finalist in the Historic Laredo/Webb County 2020 photographic competition.
